Kitsap Community Foundation set to open scholarship applications

Funds will be used for the 2020-2021 academic year

The Kitsap Community Foundation is set to open applications for 11 scholarship opportunities Jan. 1.

These funds will be used for the 2020-2021 academic year, and include scholarships based on need, merit, geographic location within the county, and specific fields of study. These scholarships are made possible by community members who donate funds and designate the requirements for the following scholarships:

  • Allen and Ellen Newberg Scholarships
  • Bill and Sandra Walgren Scholarships
  • Bremerton High School Pay it Forward Scholarship
  • Charles and Dorothy Martell Family Music Scholarship
  • Danford and Frances Moore Mechanical Engineering Scholarship
  • Fred and Marvel Hill Scholarship
  • Kitsap Children’s Musical Theatre (KCMT) Scholarships
  • Nicole (Lyle) Tranilla Memorial Scholarship
  • Orchard Foods Scholarship
  • Tracy Family Foundation Scholarship
  • West Sound Advanced Practice Association Scholarship
